Designed to create a fixed seal on your well, the Mechanical Packer offers a simplified solution to your packer needs. The mechanical packer does not require continuous pressure from an external gas supply. This reduces cost as well as assures a continuous seal.
The Mechanical Packer compresses a rubber element inside the well creating an airtight seal, able to withstand up to 50PSI. The seal is compressed from the surface by tightening the T-handle. Manufactured from 316 Stainless Steel, this packer can be combined with various feature options listed above in the drop-down menu.

Mining - The Mechanical Packer can be used to test pressure levels in surrounding wells during Hydraulic Geological fracturing or Fracking Artesian Wells - With many artesian wells, the constant flow of pressurized water is a blessing and a curse. By using a mechanical packer to seal off the well, you can regulate the pressure and stay below the frost line. Sub-Frost Protection - By dropping the packer below the frost line, you reduce the likelihood of your well freezing during the cold winter months. Sampling - By attaching the mechanical packer to a submersible pump, you can sample right through the pass-thru tube. Injection - Similar to Hydraulic Fracturing, Injection treatments can put a strain on the surrounding soil formations. By positioning Mechanical packers with Pressure gauges around the injection site, you can assure your pressure doesn't reach dangerous levels.
