12V Low Flow
The En Core® Sampler, a disposable volumetric sampling device that was developed to assist field personnel in taking soil samples with minimal handling and maximum accuracy. The original developer of the 5035 method sampling, the Encore coring sampler is the industry standard for this sampling method to this day. The En Core® Sampler is made of high-tech inert composite polymer is available in 5 gram and 25 gram versions. Besides its simplicity of use, the disposable En Core® Sampler avoids many of the problems of current VOC soil collection techniques. Note: This T Handle does not include a Coring Sampler. 2. Depress the locking lever on En Core® T-Handle. Place the coring body, plunger end first, into the open end of the T-Handle, aligning the (2) slots on the coring body with the (2) locking pins in the T-Handle. Twist the coring body clockwise to lock the pins in the slots. Check to ensure the Sampler is locked in place. The sampler is ready for use.
3. Turn the T-Handle with T-up and the coring body down. This positions the plunger bottom flush with the bottom of the coring body (ensure that the plunger bottom is in position). Using the T-Handle, push the Sampler into the soil until the coring body is completely full. When full, the small o-ring will be centered in the T-Handle viewing hole. Remove Sampler from soil. Wipe excess soil from coring body exterior.
4. Cap the coring body while it is still on the T-handle. Push the cap over the flat area of the ridge and twist to lock the cap in place. CAP MUST BE SEATED CORRECTLY.
5. Remove the capped Sampler by depressing the locking lever on the T-Handle while twisting and pulling the Sampler from the T-Handle
6. Lock the plunger by rotating the extended plunger rod fully counterclockwise until the wings rest firmly against the tabs (see plunger diagram). 7. Fill in the sample description on the back of the En Core® Sampler bag.
8. Return the full En Core® Sampler to the zipper bag. Seal the bag and put it on ice.
