It is highly resistant to a wide range of chemicals, including acids, bases, and organic solvents. This makes it ideal for use in applications where exposure to harsh chemicals is a concern. FEP Teflon can withstand high temperatures, making it suitable for use in applications where heat resistance is important; being able to withstand temperatures up to 400°F (204°C). FEP Teflon is also an excellent electrical insulator, making it suitable for use in electrical applications.
